Is this the right thing to do or a HUGE mistake?

Ok I know Im probably gonna get torched for this but Whatever.You guys have somewhat of an idea of what my GF is dealing with the dementia mom her life revolves around the care of this older woman and Not One of her siblings will help out.Well,She lives in a modest home(with the mom)And last week while i was over I was sad that the house needs so much up keep and maintenance as her father recently died and no one has done shit since.Well being the nice guy that i am i offered to do the lawn over the weekend and pressure wash the house(A days work for me)She wants to pay me but Thats just silly I'm just hoping that This is not "expected"Of me from here on out as she has 3 lazy ass brothers who dont give a shit about anything but hanging at the casinos on the weekend.Ok flame away

I think it's a very nice gesture and pretty safe to move forward with. I like that it doesn't involve cash (that's when things get dicey).

I have no clue of your deal with this girl, but I'd just warn against getting too involved with the family if you aren't serious with her. Also, not sure how her brothers are, but if my sister's BF stepped in and did things like that for my mother I'd get very territorial.

Then go for it. That was just my two cents - I'm a little more sensitive to outsiders getting involved in families they are not a part of.

But back to power washing the house and mowing that lawn - that's pretty innocent and once again, a very nice gesture. You'll probably get a great blowjob that night too.

Its just that im a neat freak from my own lawn to what i wear and I just dont feel right about going to her house and seeing this mess.If anything it will give me more 5am blow jobs i dont have to panhandle for.

Your heart is in the right place but I would be leary of this good deed biting you in the ass. Seriously, if you do it once, it will be expected that you will continue. I mean, what good is cutting my grass this week if it is still growing next month? The power-washing is done, what once per year? That's not such a big deal. Unless you are willing to maintain the lawn or pay some dudes with lawnmowers to do it once a week, I would REALLY rethink this.
