Question for Cisco Techies

Guys

I know this is abit OT but need help

We got a Cisco 2503 with a 2MB leased line. We also have ISDN to which we wish to configure the 2503 to do Failover.

Is this straight forward?

Also, if the leased line was to go down is it possible to dial in with the same IP over the ISDN? My ISP has assigned me a different IP for the ISDN account, but Im not sure whether I would be able to dial in with the one assigned on the ISDN -...Actually..Ive just thought...maybe that was a silly question...you can configure the same IP on two interfaces cuz the IOS gives an error

Anyway - anyone know of any resources on the web?..Tried Cisco's site with seraches for Backup ISDN and ISDN Failover but no use

Need help Ppl?!1

Well, you're not able to set two interfaces the same IP however, a possible solution is to make sure you got the latest code and use the "ip address dhcp" on the ISDN, and have your ISP assign you the proper IP.
