One minute I'm puttiing stuff in my cart, the next minute she's asking me to pay for my items? wtf?!

What am I supposed to do in this situation.

So I come across this grocery store near my house. And the other day they were open from 6am to 11pm so I went over there around 6pm. I didnt call first.

So one minute I'm putting items in my cart. Basically whatever I want. Lots of goodies. I go walking out the door rolling my cart and the cashier stops me and asks me to pay?

I dont get it. Why can't I just roll out the door with my goodies? They didnt say shit when i was putting stuff in my cart. Hell, I dont think they even noticed.

Then I go to leave, they tell me no.
