Morgion - Among Majestic Ruin (for more stoner rock)
Evoken - Embrace the Emptiness (spatial doom/death)
Shape of Despair - Angels of Distress (carefull, you might kill yourself)
Candlemass - always classic
Isis - for some crazy experimental noise
Katatonia - decent stuff
October Tide - decent stuff

I have all that shit ngr, any suggestions that aren't a household name already? I mean fuck, my mother probably has Candlemass stuff and she doesn't even listen to metal.

i went through a neurosis phase for a while but their sound doesnt do it for me anymore.. still a lot of talent.

I tried when I picked up "Through Silver In Blood" when it came out, I think I read a favorable review somewhere. Soooooooooooo disappointing.

I am mainly into deathmetal and thrash...but I really only listen to Carcass anymore.

I seen Isis live in this little shithole club a few months back. They are fucking bad ass. Very good live show.
