It's easy to judge them and hold them in contempt because dogs are supposed to be pets and our companions? Last time I checked, Chinese people don't have the luxury of walking into a Kroger or Stop 'n' Go (Pardon me if I got this name wrong ) Supermarkets as we do. They do what they can to get by.

I feel sorry for the dogs, but its no less brutal then what we do to cows, pigs, chickens etc. The only difference is, most people don't keep those animals as pets. I can understand why people become vegetarians.
