I'm doing the Katy Flatland Century again!

I'm riding my bike 100 miles this Sunday (with about 2000 other people) in a race / ride to support the Boy Scouts in Katy.

I'm much heavier this year than last year, I'm sure I'll do quite poorly! (but I look better!)

you ride from where to where??? Have you ever done the ride from SA to CC?

We ride in a big loop, so we don't really go anywhere .. Katy, Fulsher, Sealy, Brookshire, back to Katy. Very flat, very HOT!!! (that's what's makes this ride a killer)

Last year the temp was 110, the last 25 miles I couldn't go more than 5mph .. I'm going to hydrate better this year.

Never did the SA to CC one, that would be nice, because you could plop your ass in the beach afterwards.

you ever done the hotter 'n hell 100 in wichita falls, johnny? i think it's still the biggest one day century in the country.

i worked that race/expo (for powerbar) one year and it was amazingly big.

I love going up to wichita falls during the spring and fall... Inks lake has the best park around. there also an awsome carrabien restaurant in wichita falls thats right on the river, right next to the chilies.

shoot...i bought me a cannondale multisport 2000 about a year ago and haven't used it in about 6 months. i need to get the cobwebs off of it.
