Not necessary to enable html, there's a bbcode hack that will allow [youtube][/youtube] tags without requiring users to have full html access.

Apparently, it's [youtube_videoID][/youtube_videoID].

I have no idea how this stuff works. Can I make a tag that links to my site? Like, [samote's_site][/samote's_site] or something? This probably involves knowing how vBul works... I bet there're other tags that we don't know about, too.

its the same basic concept as the auto-expander or even the expansion of smilie codes. vB takes a pre-determined character string and generates safe html code
