How long is alcohol detected in an alcohol test?

Well, theoretically 24 hours. It measures alcohol in your blood stream not breath. Alcohol stays in your blood for at least 24 hours, particularly if you are already over the legal limit.

depending on diet (high carbs after alcohol consumption can lower liver enzyme levels)
