Help--> Wierd Q, but help please

Alright well I had a party at my house last night, and it got kind of messy. My question is how do you get gum off of the carpet. Can someone please help me out with some old school remedy for my problem. Thanks in advance.

Yea what Crazier said and.......


1.I think you can use peanut butter or
2.A citrus cleaner from the hardware store or
3.A type of dry-cleaning solvent (not paint thinner) from the hardware store or
4.Locate a can of instant freeze(compressed air in a can) and freeze it out. Use a screwdriver to break it up after you freeze it. You have to work fast after you freeze it because it will thaw out quickly.

Directions on 2 and 3....use a white towel and pour the stuff on the towel and not on the carpet. It could possibly delaminate the carpet backing(cause it to seperate and leave a bubble in the carpet).
