Good call on the green tea actually I had some this morning and it helped alot. I'll have to settle for ibuprofin though

some sort of anti inflammatory (you had ibuprofen - good) plus a sympathomimmetic like psuedoephedrine, or at night, an old antihistamine like doxylamine will both help to stop the passages to your eardrum from completely closing up. if they do close up, the build up of pressure is waht will cause the pain.

go to your pharmacy, get some drugs, then get a docs appointment to see what it is
