Has anyone been hacked by the RIAA yet?

My little brother told me that someone from a company called "RIAA"(A Real Company) instand messaged him on AOL and told him delete his pirated music.

My brother trhought it was fake and told the person "Ok".

RIAA told him that he might get sued.

Now heres what I want to know:

How the fuck did the RIAA know his instand message handle?

How do they knew he had pirated music?

Well obviously they hacked into the computer to gather this info.

Is that legal?

When did it pass? How?

This is BS.

It's either A) Someone fucking around or B) They're doing a random hit list to try and lure people. or C) They've setup a set of user fronts to collect IP data.

It's bullshit, I got a message when I was downloading some rather dodgy shit from kazaa for a laugh(SCAT BITCHES) to download to my boss at work.

I got a kazaa pop-up saying that the police were being called to my address. I told them to go and fuck them self.

And suprise surprise, nothing happened except my boss was nearly sick
