i mean the guy spent 30 secs with me tonight and gave me muscle relaxers... i think he's full of crap but they did shoot me up and get my mind off my pain.. used an 18g cannon too and i requested a 25 g 1.5 inch... the fuckers...and yet i believe they are barking up the wrong tree yet again... can you go to a doctor and request what tests you want run?

The one I had was a resident doctor. She didn't know what the hell she was doing.

I don't think I'd know what the hell I was doing either if I had to pull 36-48 hour shifts. :worried:

I've met some great one er docs and some shit er docs. I would say the majority are aces. Between my brothers and I, I have plenty of ER time.

What was wrong? If you can find a specialist who you can establish a dialog with, you should be ok. There are probably lots of docs out there who lift.

I took my dad into the emergency recently.

Basically all I saw was a nurse playing tetris, another nurse chilling on a bed, some doctors enjoying some kind of feast while playing cards, and one doctor talking on the phone for like an hour.

After about 4 hours of waiting, they gave my dad some peptol bismol.

Don't they work for the government in Canada?

According to my records... ER docs are the most sought after. They are the ones that bring me the big bucks. Cardiologists and radiologists are next.

As far as the docs and nurses lounging on beds and stuff... it could have been their lunch break. Also, many hospitals now have a rule that limits the number of patients each ER doc can see in a given amount of time. Which explains the delay.

I'm interested to know at what hospital this occurred & how many other people were in the waiting room?

Aren't they almost government employees in Canada? Lucky if they stay in the building after clocking in sometimes.
