A great lady and one of the few people I would call my hero. Way ahead of her time. Does anyone know if she is still alive? I spoke with her by phone a few years ago to tell her how much I admired her and her work. She had become embittered because she spent the whole of her life sacrificing for others and after her stroke, the hospital staff treated her like shit and her husband divorced her. Life is definitely not fair. I was reading my Psych. book and came across some of her work. She developed the model for the 5 stages of grief, I didn't know that.
