Anyone know the value of bikes (bicycles)

^^agree

It could work for you if you are not a serious rider.

My first bike was 90-100 bucks from Target lol. My second one was $1300 plus extra for the gear.

yeah this will be recreational use

not trying to pull some triathlons just yet

I figured I could buy a new one from wally world or target for $100 or so, probably not that great of quality.

I'm gonna call this guy and go check it out today

your size/frame size is probably the more important question...i know it's only $80 but, if it doesn't fit you it's wasted money that you could have added to the other $320 that you'd need for a brand new, entry-level speicalized (e.g., hardrock).

I don't know shit about bikes. What differentiates an $80 bike to a $1300 bike?

Simple.

Quality!!!

Mine has shimano components which means that they last longer. They are the best.

And also Carbon Fiber, I'm assuming you know what it is. You have steel alloys, aluminum, titanium and then Carbon fiber. It's very light material it feels like you are flying. All you have to worry about is your own weight.

Again, for a serious rider it's an investment.
