Nah...really rarely, but mostly not at all. And when someone is brought up, it's not like "I wonder what xyz about them," it's more like, "did you see what x(real name) posted on facebook? Jesus." It's also usually a mixed crowd including non EF people, so we keep the whole "message board" connection subtle.
