If you look around you will see that the tighter the restrictions the higher the crime rate. Why? Because only law abiding citizens obey these laws. The criminal will not obey any new stricter gun law any more than he does now let alone the laws he already ignores. That is why he is a criminal, you know disrespect and disregard for the law.
And the more laws we pass regulating your ability to self defense whether it be with a gun or your bare hands, the more the criminal will rejoice, for he knows that the more this happens the less likely his prey will be armed in any manner and therefore make his job a lot easier.
