Man faces court over rape of 91yo

December 4, 2004

A MAN appeared in court today charged with the attempted rape of a 91-year-old woman in her north Queensland home.
Police allege the woman was attacked in the bedroom of her Cape Pallaranda home in Townsville about 6pm (AEST) on Thursday.
The 38-year-old man appeared in Townsville Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court on Monday.
