Look at it this way, it's like worrying about your own death, when it happens there isn't a damn thing you can do to change it so obsessing over an inevitability only succeeds in making you feel upset and anxious.

Frankly, all of my elders and teachers have told us that there will be changes, but not the kind most people think of, but subtle, metaphysical stuff.
