You are worried about this $160m for Obama's inauguration but I think you should focus more on how much Iraq is costing you each and every day. Why should Bush get all the benefits and no one shout about how much they cost. Although I must say nonetheless 160m is a little high and Obama could raise concerns over this.

Yes, by all means we shouldn't make investments because sometimes they can fail or produce sub par results.
And Iraq violated the terms of the cease fire they signed with the US. If you violate a cease fire when someone was kicking your ass, be ready to get your ass kicked some more.

The iraq war an "admirable" act? are you fucking serious? So because we want to show some muscle in the middle east we had to kill almost a quarter of a million civilians because their strong man dictator was a clown??
And that doesn't even start to address the fact that the only reason we got pissed at Saddamm was because he refused to play ball with the world bank. We could have given a fuck about what he did to his own people because we secretly really liked the guy, he was the sunni counterweight to Irans shia presence. We wanted to sell him american military weapons to fight Iran with. Admirable my ass............afghanistan was necessary, not Iraq. Iraq was just something we did cause afghanistan gave us the temporary political capital to do it........but our govt STILL lied their asses off to get it through. Once people caught on we were already there for a year.
