Excerpt: i know that all the labels on the zma products say that you shouldnt eat dairy or calcium products with it. i usually eat cottage cheese before bed because of the casein protein. if i eat that about an hour before bed what effect would that have if i took zma before sleep???

    i know that all the labels on the zma products say that you shouldnt eat dairy or calcium products with it. i usually eat cottage cheese before bed because of the casein protein. if i eat that about an hour before bed what effect would that have if i took zma before sleep???

    there are plenty of things that interact with B6 but dairy isn't one of them as far as i know. certain drugs def will like antibiotics and cortico's

    I've heard calcium can affect to zinc absorption to some degree but I wouldn't honestly fuss about it too much unless you are like eating and taking the supps at the same time.

    My advice is eat your cottage cheese, wait about an hour or so and then take your zma and I'm sure you'll be just fine.
