ZINC...how much of a difference will it make?

MrStamina

I've been told adding Zinc to my diet will make big difference.
What exactly will it do and how will it help me?

It's not going to make a huge difference unless you have a serious pre-existing zinc deficiency, but keep a few things in mind. Zinc is essential in the body's natural production of testosterone. So if you are zinc deficient, your body is going to have trouble keeping your natural test levels up.

Studies have shown that most strength training athletes are Zinc deficient, so it is definately a good idea to take supplemental zinc for this reason.

;)

BTW Zinc competes with Calcium for absorption

so, don't take those minerals together

Doesn't calcium require magnesium to bond?

you need both in a ratio Mg/Ca of 2:1
