Too much electrolyte is bad?

Do you think electrolyte tablets can be a goodaddition during a training? I guess that I don't really need thembecause I am not an endurance athlete, but they taste good, have nocarbs in them...that is a good way of making water taste better. Sowill the extra electrolytes hurt me, or I will just piss them out?
 
There are two kinds of drink. One is 90% glucose syrup (like Gatorade etc)and little or no electrolyte.

The other is the kind recommended after a dose of diarrhea which does contain mineral salts and electrolytes. It will, as you say, have been made to taste nice. But there is little or NO point using it after a workout. They tend towards the no-carb type.
