protein intake question

Hello, so I was reading online when you are bulking you have to take 1-2gms of proteain per pound of body weight, I wonder
if protein from food is included or that's only from protein powder? thanks.

None of the above is correct.

Bulking isn't just about protein but all the macros. So you need to up everything.

There are no 100% hard and fast rules re protein intake but my preference is for 1g a lb.

Finally food wins but a little powder is ok

i don't believe in dirty bulking at all

if you are a skinny dude and you just start eating a bunch of food you will get fat, you won't necessarily gain muscle magically

gaining muscle involves lifting weights correctly and consistently. this myth that you need a protein powder or 2X your body weight in protein is a ruse started in the 80's to sell people protein powders. it worked and it made guys like joe weider millionaires

By real food, I hit my protein intake 1 to 1.5 so I don't need any protein powder
