Excerpt: how often should i be taking breaks from pre workouts? I feel too stimmed up sometimes and i crash during the workouts, and my sleep is getting worse and worse. i also feel tired and cranky if i don't get in my preworkout. i think my body says take a break

    pre workout breaks?

    how often should i be taking breaks from pre workouts? I feel too stimmed up sometimes and i crash during the workouts, and my sleep is getting worse and worse. i also feel tired and cranky if i don't get in my preworkout. i think my body says take a break

    you need to at the bare minimum cycle them 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off or you will become addicted. i do not recommend pre workouts myself. suppressing your own bodies adrenaline makes absolutely no sense.

    Like anything, if you are getting bad effects from using something, stop using that thing. I would only recommend any pre workout if you train really early in the AM and had a horrible sleep the night before. In that case, just have a cup of black coffee. You definitely need to give your CNS a break from stims.

    When you start noticing it working less you need to take 3 or 4 weeks off

    You don't need them, and it is best to only use them occasionally since you will build a tolerance.

    you can do month on, month on. i personally donít use them anymore
