potassium while body building

Hi guys I was wondering if you should start taking potassium caps on the side when you start body building, since it is important for a person's muscles to work effectively, if you think it can be beneficial how much a day should be taken, thank you.

Usually, a good multi-vitamin will have the potassium you need. It is indeed very important, since it will prevent muscle cramps and excessive pumps. So it is definitely a necessary mineral to keep in the body.

Potassium is a very important electrolyte but you should be getting plenty of it already in your regular diet.

Fruits and vegetables are naturally extremely high in potassium. That's one of the reasons they are so healthy.

Your body keeps your electrolytes in your body in a very precise ratio. Loading up on electrolyte supplements like potassium can actually do more harm then good.

I wouldn't supplement potassium separately. Just add in a good multivitamin like Ruthless 3D and combined with your diet you will likely get plenty.
