MyoGenX Result Thread

I called an out of state ED doctor today, and im waiting to hear back from him to ask him a professional opinion on herbs and their place in supplements helping with libido. I will post what he says when he calls.. fair enough?

I don't have an opinion either way here (well, I do, but that's besides the point).... the point is, a doctor will typically turn their noses up at herbs, and other similar supplements...including "specialists" ... they're job is to prescribe rX's and to cut people up.... they don't get anything in return for prescribing "herbs"... so don't take the word of this particular doctor as bible...

maybe you should just try the stuff so you can once and for all give a definitive opinion on it

Just seeking another opinion, thats all.. Id take the word over a well known, respected doctor/specialist anytime over the word from anonymous people on an open forum..

And as for trying it out, I dont think my opinion would even mean anything anymore.. I mean, I already said what I think of herbs, and if I did come back with the truth wether it be good or bad, who would value my opinion.. Id be a hyprocrite if I said it worked, and i would be riduculed if my opinons were bad, and that Im out to get someone..right BRR?? Ill pass, i already had my zinc and vitamin e today anyways! And no real change in anything either..

Unless the doctor was a friend or giving an arbitrary opinion.

Also, younger doctors are usually more "cutting edge" than the older "stuck in their ways" type. Regardless, most herbs (especially new ones) wouldnt be covered in Med school so most likely his response would be, along the lines of "I'm not sure". Or the doctor would make something up because he is indeed a pompous doctor.

I used to think that too, but it's definitely not always true! My mom is in desperate need of chiropractic care and her doctor outright REFUSES to give her the referral she needs (damn insurance!) to go....he's been drugging her up with pain meds, she's been to a PT, and NOTHING works... it really pisses me off... I've told her to insist and demand, didn't work....I told her to threaten to find another doctor and he didn't care....and on top of all this, he's a YOUNG doctor. Point is, most doctors don't subscribe to anything other than the realms of medicine or surgery... so that eliminates most "alternative" types of care.

Typical western medicine approach, too many Dr.s in the US that wont even consider anthing "alterative" to what they learned in med school.

Because "Alternatives" usually come from exotic herbs that can be obtained without and script. There is more money in teaching Doctors to prescribe Meds.

Preach on brotha!!! I believe!!

I have wasted so much cash on herbal this and that… This may be something “better” than we have seen in the past but… I have my doubts.. That being said, I am sure they will make plenty of money off of it!!

good point....

probably has a lot to do with one particular medicinal herb that many say has a whole host of benefits from not being really legal, eh?

Let's face it, we've all tried dozens if not hudreds of OTC products in hopes of curing this or enhancing that.... I know I have.... I'd say at least 50% of all those supplements I've tried were completely useless....maybe 25% had *some* merit and another 25% that worked well and and would recommend to others... plus response is different for everyone

Weekly Update:

Day 2:
Sunday November 26, 2006

No change and no noticeable effects.

Day 3:
Monday November 27, 2006

No change and no noticeable effects.

Day 4:
Tuesday November 28, 2006

Balls are hanging a little bit more but they are still retracted. I did notice a semi-rigid hard-on in the morning. Aside from that nothing substantial.

Day 5:
Wednesday November 29, 2006

No change

Day 6:
Thursday November 30, 2006

Ball sac is definitely hanging lower. Very noticeable. In the evening I was horny. Not though the roof. I have notice more energy and I note that Wednesday and tonight I can’t get to sleep. Despite getting little or no sleep all week I should be passing out but I have noticeable higher energy levels.

Day 7:
Friday December 1, 2006

Woke up with large morning wood and horny. I am a bit lethargic this morning (slept in a little late to catch up on the past week) but I am feeling rather well and holding up significantly well despite my horrid schedule.

On another note I have not been working out. My hernia has gotten worse and it is not an umbilical hernia (it is higher - can't remember the term). Even coughing makes it pop out significantly. Anyway, I read one post above about having better definition and shape despite working out and I have definitely not noticed that.

I have been taking 3 tabs and will continue to do so. Net update next Friday.
