Excerpt: I read that after your workout you should drink a 2:1 protein to carbs ratio drink.(ex. 50 grams of protein for 100grams of carbs). But then I read that whey protein is the best thing to drink. But when i read the whey protein nutrition label it barely has any carbs???? Help please.

    I donít get it?

    I read that after your workout you should drink a 2:1 protein to carbs ratio drink.(ex. 50 grams of protein for 100grams of carbs). But then I read that whey protein is the best thing to drink. But when i read the whey protein nutrition label it barely has any carbs????

    Help please.

    You don't need any of those supplemets, and there isn't a narrow window to get your protein and carbs. It is mainly info pushed by supplement companies to keep you buying there powders. Just eat a good diet of clean whole foods.

    yeah it is confusing when you read junk science put out by supplement companies.

    they also are notorious for cherry picking studies to suit their agenda

    the truth is it is a load of bullshit to sell you fart powders
