how much fiber for fat loss do I need?

I know the only way to lose weight is being in a caloric deficit, but I was wondering is taking fiber will help to reduce appetite like some people say? plus it helps to lower cholesterol, one of my hardest things is to control appetite at nights and I will get a bucket of fiber to take at night to see if it helps.
 
You are 100% correct - fibre increases satiety, reduces the risk of certain cancers and improves cholesterol levels.

The DRI for fiber for men and women up to the age of 50 is
38 grams and 25 grams per day, respectively.

Men and women over the age of 50 should reduce their daily fiber intake to 30 grams and 21 grams, respectively
 
Does that work because of the fiber or they taste so horrible you won't want to eat again lol and put you off more food


A little bit of both.

Eating lots of greens is a good way to get in your nutrients, fiber and help curb hunger a little.
