ginger root?

I read some stuff on ginger root from the search area and was reading saying it expands a part of your stomach for absorption of protein and crap,does this mean it will make my belly/stomach or whaeva its called stick out ?

I have been taking for a while and its pretty good... No belly sticking out, cramps, or whatever. Its good stuff.....
