Gbl

par dues, great article. In all my other searches it seemed most were very cynical of ghb or its precursors, but if used prudent it sounds worthwhile. I'm also wondering what is the conversion pathway for gbl to ghb and is it hard on the body, oh and what is in tranquil-g?

i went to the site but didnt see any artical on GHB, did
i look at the wright page ? I looked at both #2 and #3 but couldnt find it. where is it.

thanks, David

It is in issue # 2, and it is called "Chemically Correct - GHB"

The conversion pathway for GBL --> GHB is lactonase catalysed hydrolysis -- and, "no", it is not hard on the body at all.

The active in Tranquili-G is 4-pentanolide, which is exactly like GBL, structurally, except it has a methyl group on the fourth carbon.

On paper, it looks like it should be better than GBL, but it is not. It is a good sleep-aid and anxiolytic, but its effects plateau, so it is not a good recreational drug -- a fact my bank account mourns :)
