Fish oil

If I eat 6-8 oz of wild salmon 2-3 days a week, do I still need fish oil? And what will fish oil gain me, that the wild salmon doesn't.

You can have fish a couple times a week with krill oil supplements and that should be a good balance.

I would still use fish oil. Most of our bodies are very inflamed from stress, working out, lack of sleep etc.

Reducing inflammation is very important for health. Fish oil is one of the best natural anti-inflammatory supplements you can take.

You would just supplement with slightly less fish oil since you are eating a lot of fatty caught fish.

The amount of salmon you eat is enough. If you absolutely must supplement, aim for 1g of EPA and 1g of DHA (subcomponents of omega-3) daily. Fish is the best source. Krill is overrated - sure its just as a good source but not superior despite the marketing claims (it will just cost you more).
