Does protein powder expire?

During the move I found an old tub of protein - seal never broken, plastic still on it but it expired in mid 2009. Is there a problem with using this?

I wouldn't hesitate to eat it, but that's me. I highly doubt it's effectiveness is diminished in any great way.

2009 and you will be perfectly fine.

I found a place that sells dated stuff and I got some from 2006. lol (ON 100% whey for $10 for 5 lbs!) It was good.
