Dextrose question....different brands, same amount of carbs per 1/2c?

Quick question, been using Supplement Direct Dextrose for a while now.....my local nutrition store sells NOW brand dextrose is 2lb bags for pretty cheap, so I'm just gonna switch over to that.

Dextrose measurment/nutritional info is pretty much universal right? I'm mean 1/2c Supplement Direct Dextrose should be the same amount of carbs as 1/2c NOW brand dextrose, correct? They're both 100% dextose so I don't see why they'd be different, but you never know.

Ya I bought like 12 pounds of NOW dextrose for half of what suppdirect wanted. According to the packaging 1 gram dextrose = 1 carb

1 g of any type of carb... simple or complex will not yield 1 calorie. 1g carb = 4 cals. generally.
