believe it or not, YES... no bs...
they protect your shins as you pull the bar up them... my left inner thigh has calousses from this... and actually, long socks are a requirement in competition... i will get some deadlift slippers for the actual comp, i was pulling in my chucks before, but im beginning to like no shoes the best...
