Bad breathe from protein powder

I started taking this new type of protein powder that I got off of bodybuilding website.
I've never had this problem before but my girlfriend has been complaining that I've had bad breath especially after drinking it. Is this normal and how do you prevent it what could be causing it

You can have bad breath with protein because of the milk
use vegetarian protein instead like pea protein

Switch to vegetarian powder and if not fixed, then it is a digestive issue
