b12 injections im or sq?

I was diagnosed with anemia, and I decided to get some B12 to inject, My question is which way is more effective, IM or SQ ? or it doesn't really matter, can you please guys give me an advice? also what needles size is the right one for B12,thank you

from what i can remember i was injected B12 by IM. but i'm sure subQ is fine too. really it shouldn't matter. it isn't an oil where you need a thick needle. 25G or thinner is fine

Injectable vitamin B12 is water based so you can inject it sub q or intra muscular. I personally would inject it sub q. No reason doing an intramuscular injection and creating scar tissue in the muscle when it isn't necessary.

Muskate is right - vitamin b12 is water based and you can easily inject it subq. Less scar tissue and its less painful in that case.
