Arachidonic Acid and pumps

People always say they get good muscle pumps from Arachidonic Acid. What's the mechanism of how that work?

Arachidonic Acid is a fatty acid that regulates inflamation in the body. The omega 6 fats (like Arachidonic Acid) are very inflammatory. The omega 3 fats (like EPA and DHA found in fish oil) are very anti-inflammatory.

Aracidonic acid supplements are a scam.

Is it important for muscle hypertrophy? Yes. Will supplementing with it do anything? No.

Arachidonic acid is not an essential fatty acid. Your body can create it from the omega 6 fatty acid linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is EXTREMELY widespread in food and most people actually eat too much of it.

Save your money. If you want to supplement with a fatty acid supplement, supplement with a good quality fish oil or krill oil. It will do 100 times more then an arachidonic acid supplement will.

musky summed it up beautifully

i will add if you want pumps there are other options for you. Cialis for example will give you some wicked pumps, although that is a drug. ag-guys sells it

Dspark is a supplement from n2bm that was designed to give clean pumps

and then of course eating a proper diet gives pumps too

You aren't going to get pumps from it. Honestly, guys overlook it all the time but your pre workout meal can be enough to give you crazy pumps. Make sure you incorporate some carbs in your meal and you are good to go.

The main principle is to cause more inflammation in the muscles. According to theory, this is needed during muscle building as your muscles grow when they are torn and repaired thru the process of inflammation.

The reviews are very mixed regarding this case, I have to admit.
