Assuming someone does not have an omega-3 deficiency, would there any advantages to flax oil over oils that are predominately monounsaturated fat (like olive oil).
The reason why I ask is because I read negative things about the conversion rate of ALA in people who don't have an omega-3 deficiency.
Would the ALA in flax help battle the negative effects of omega-6 intake over monounsaturated fats?
