The sad truth is that steroid usage is rampant in WWE. The drug testing is laughable. It's mainly for show. I bet that a lot of the WWE athletes don't even do the drug tests themselves. They probably pay someone for a clean urine sample and then smuggle it into the bathroom in their underwear.

I remember listening to a podcast episode where Dave Palumbo was talking about some of the WWE athletes he trained and he talked about what steroidsthey used in their cycles. He obviously didn't list specific names but if a few of them are juicing, they all are juicing.

WWE does not care about their athletes.. essentially they use them and when their bodies break down they get thrown into the trash. Vince Mcmahon is a evil man and his wife is even worse. they either get in the ring or they or shown the door, even with broken bones and major injuries.

in the NFL if you get a concussion you are not allowed back in the game and must pass a concussion protocol before you can set foot back in any game. so even the NFL cares about their players more than WWE

The sports entertainment industry is extremely competitive so of course these guys are using everything they can get their hands on. They have to be in top shape year round and don't have an off season if they are full time guys. On top of those demands that a professional athlete has they also have to be on point with their acting skills. A very tough industry.

There is a lot of pressure on how they should look like and in often cases it is something along the lines - the bigger, the better.

That also means that they get pretty high bodyfat levels just to keep on being huge. Add drugs to that and there is a full recipe for a heart attack, especially in a sport like wrestling.
