when to know if I have an infection

third week pinning test on my left buttock and today when I woke I noticed the injection site is very red and swollen and it hurts when I walk or when I press it, are this signs of an infection? thanks.

infections do not magically appear overnight like that.. they will show up days after

what you likely have here if this was the only time this happened was tissue irritation. just avoid that area for a while, it will take 7-10 days to die down

if you keep pinning and getting this problem though you are likely allergic to your gear oil and should contact your source and get something else
