What is the legal status of GHB?

I remember it became schedule I about a year ago, but now I heard that it got taken off the list because Ophan medical is coming out with it as a sleep aid? Does anyone know for sure?

As far as I know it still is, and will continue to be a scheduled substance. I do know, however, that there are still some 1-4 Butanediol bottles dressed up as cleaning products being sold on the net. Good stuff as long as you're especially safe with it. Seen too many people nearly go down for the count at parties because they wanted a little more than a sippy sippy.
