Vets. help on synthroid/thyroid drugs

I know drugs such as Cytomel, Synthroid, etc. help w/ weight loss by increasing thyroid activity. In addition to anabolics e.g. Deca and Sust. could synthroid help with muscle gains since it also increases the metabolism of proteins, carbs, and fats. That is, if these are metabolized faster, and more is consumed, would one possibly grow faster rather than possibly just waste any extra protein that the body would normally not have use for? (I eat alot & not all nutrients may be consumed for my bodywt. requirements) I think Cytadren may have a similar behavior if used in conjuction w/ aas.
