Venison?

IS venison a good source of protien? I have received a lot of it recently and wondered if it was good? Thanks for your help.

YES, it is a good source of protein, with very little fat content.God bless deer season.

It's a good source although hard to come by where I am at. Maybe when I visit some of my family for X-mas I can hit one with my car.

yea,venison is very lean but a lot of fat is added when it is made into burger or sausage (by the butcher)

Any meat has a high amount of protein but pork has alot of fat, too much for most BB'ers diets to use on a consistent basis.

Venison is the BEST. Tastes great and low fat!! Now if only I could get it at the supermarket in town
