Hey bros, I have to take a three hour
long licensing exam and I'm really worried
about my concentration falling to pieces
after an hour. Does anyone know of ANYTHING
that might be of some benefit. In addition,
the exam is obviously geared toward the
non-athletic (no getting up for water,etc);
would something like glycerol keep me hydrated, while also preventing the urge to
hit the restroom.
 
You might experiment with Caffeine and a Beta blocker. Beta-blockers, including propranolol (Inderal) and atenolol (Tenormin), block the nerves that stimulate the heart to beat faster. They affect only the physiologic symptoms of anxiety and are most helpful for phobias, particularly performance anxiety.
