training while on: training log, six day a week split

two questions:

do most of you keep a training log while on? i'm just wondering if it's worth it because your strength will be increasing fast. so i'm thinking of ditching it while on and just make sure i do enough sets with heavy enough weight for a given body part.

is a six day a week split too much? i see some people still like to keep it down to 4 days a week. i would like to do six days a week because i can focus on each bodypart with more attention each workout because i'd be doing fewer body parts per session.

I still keep a training log while I'm on just to see how much weight I can increase by each week, it makes it easier - at least for me.... You need to find out what works for you... I'm currently running a 4 day split, and I'm on, and it is just KILLING me, I love it... Defenitely tougher than the 5 day split I had been running a few weeks prior to starting this one (and the 5 day split had more exercises per bodypart)

YUM

I started a detailed log about a week ago. Every workout plus my measurements(weight, arms, thigh etc). Its good so you keep pushing yourself every week. If you are on you should be making gains EVERY workout. I am on a week and already put a half inch on my arms and legs.

I am currently working out 3 days on one day off...But I split my body into 4 days.

So it goes like this:

1: Chest, Biceps
2: Legs, Calves
3: Delts, Triceps
4: Off
5: Back. Rear Delts, Deadlifts
6: Chest, Biceps
7: Legs, Calves
8: Off
9: Delts, Triceps

Etc...Etc.

Been working great..I feel fully recovered by the time I do my next workout. I feel I am maximizing my time on. I am having the best workouts ever. I am glad I finally started doing deadlifts again..feels great.

six days is alot of liftin...even while on gear.

I'm an ecto who gets easily overtrained so I do a Mon,Tu, Th,Fri
schedule. You gotta lift to grow, you gotta rest to grow.

pro bb'ers lift 6 days a week -some even twice a day-so if you have the time, you can also.

Diamond-

Your posts usually are helpful, but this is BAD advice. Even on gear, I cannot lift six days a week. I would be drained bad. 3-4 days of high intensity work is all I can handle. Come on man, I hope you realize most people cannot train that much!

I dont juice but when I bulk I go 5 days a week doing only small bodyparts on thursday. It goes something like this and seems to work good for me.

Mon- Chest, Shoulders
Tue- Back, Hamstrings
Wed- Biceps, Triceps
Thur- Calves, Abs, Forearms
Fri- Quads
