I went to my PCP and he told me that based on my lab results and symptoms I have hypothyroid. He told me I need to be on meds and reffered me to an Endocrinologist.
I have no health insurance.
The endo charges $325 for initial consult plus $110+ for more lab test.
I can not afford it.
I call back my PCP and asked him if he can treat me for my hypoT. He says since i am not converting t4 into t3 my best bet is to be put on Armour.
I asked him if he will prescribe it and tell me dose, but he refused.
My question is:
What dose of armour do i start with and how often do i increase and by how much?
