i am a big fan of some not too crazy am cardio... dont sprint or do burpess for an hour but a nice slow jog while on will burn some fat off quickly w/ out taking out too much muscle.
also at a certain point i would start to limit carbs at night big time..
but it all depends on how much you have to lose and how quickly you have to do it.
