Test only cycles: what are the disadvantages?

Besides the water retention, why not stick to test only cycles? In my experience, the weaker anabolics are a waster of money. Of course, I am not objecting to a Dbol or Abomb kick start at the beginning of the cycle, but I get every side effect there is from deca and even EQ with little gains.

There are no disadvantages. Test is by far the best AS. All others are derivitives of testosterone(wanna-be's in my opinion). My view now is instead of doing 500mg test and 400mg EQ(900 total mg's). Why not just do 1g of test...which is far more potent(in my opinion) than eq. Some people have side effect issues but if you don't I would go all test.
