Anyone here use supersets exclusively for workouts, or for any period of time (say 4-6 weeks straight) do blast passed sticking points?

I love to superset arms and delts...and week after week I see no negative impact.

Its a great way to pound the muscle hard.

peace,
WCP

I throw them in to shock the muscles every now and again, i don't do them with every workout. I love to super set tri's and bi's.

i superset all my workouts
For example here's how my routine looks:
Day 1: Chest Superset bench and inclinewith dumbbell flys or cables
Day 2: Superset squats with curls and leg press with calves
Day 3: Superset lat pulldown with military press, one arms dumbell rows with later raises, etc.
Day 4: Superset tri with bi exercercies
This is only a brief breakdown, but you get the point
It works the muscle great and its a good change of pace

I like doing supersets while I am cutting up. I keep them heavy and there is very little ( if none ) resting time....and this keeps the Heart rate up. It also shortens the workout time so you can do your cardio and training without feeling like you live at the gym.

Supersets

are the shit!!!!!!
I train HEAVY DUTY , so thats all I do! The best way to super set is with a isolation followed by a compound. It works great for lagging bodyparts.

Good topic:
I superset my bi's and delts, but have heard different opinions on supersets.
what I want to hear from ppl with experience or physiological smarts is
1- are supersets more productive?
2- can they be counter productive?
3- How many and how often is it beneficial to superset
4- which muscle benefit more than others if any?
thanks
