Soy oil or Soybean oil for...

for an experimental kit bought from a very well known guy. Isn't soy oil actually soybean oil? I've looked all over for soy oil and actually soybean oil and can't seem to locate it. I ordered this kit and forgot to include the sterile part to it which includes the oil. The guy says others use soy oil so I am wandering if they are the same thing. Any help on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks!
